Apple's 2023 line up will be INSANE!

Apple's 2023 lineup will be insane.

In fact they're going to have the most impressive lineup in their history. I'm going to cover their entire lineup. 

About the iPhone, the iPad, the Apple watch, the next Macs, the next airpods and some special announcements as well 

Airpods:

The only new airpods they were expecting to see would be the airpods max 2.

We got the airpods 3 and the airpods Pro 2 in 2022. However the airpods max haven't received an update since 2020. Some new colors have been rumored for a while and                      credit: zone of tech

we're also expecting to see some new features with this new generation. The main change being the new H2 chip which would significantly improve the noise canceling and the transparency mode same as we've seen with the airpods pro 2. We could also see some new audio drivers for even better audio quality and ofcourse USB type-c which will also be coming to the airpods pro 2 and the airpods 3 with an updated case but that's pretty much it when it comes to the airpods.

The Apple Watch series 9. We're not really expecting to see any design changes here

so it would still have the same design as the series 7 and 8 but we could see some new health sensors. The blood pressure and the glucose monitoring sensors have been in the works for years. If we do see any of these it would be the glucose that's much easier to do or we could also see something like a BMI sensor.

Samsung already has this and fun fact you can also get this on the Apple watch if you buy the Aura Strap. We're also expecting to see a brand new chip the Apple S9. As the S8, the S7 and the S6 were essentially the same chip window Improvement. So this new S9 would be a major upgrade most likely in terms of the efficiency not certainly in terms of the performance which is already good enough and then we also have the Apple watch Ultra 2. 

Now with this one we're not expecting to see any major changes. So same design just with the S9 chip and the new health sensor that the apple watch series 9 is also getting.

Iphone:

We're expecting three major models the iPhone 15, the iPhone 15 Pro and the iPhone 15 Ultra. 

So in terms of the iPhone 15 this would have a lot of the features that the iPhone 14 pro introduced with the biggest one being the dynamic Island.

Now the camera could also be the one from the iPhone 14 pro. So that new 14 megapixel sensor based on what Apple has done in the past.

Where they've used the pro model sensor on the newest non-pro model iPhone. We would also see the Apple a16 chip up from the a15. Once again this was in the iPhone 14 pro and ofcourse USB type-c finally.

Then we have the iPhone 15 Pro so on top of everything that the iPhone 15 has the 15 Pro will actually be the biggest change since the iphone 12 design.

It's been reported that the iPhone 15 Pro will have a new design with a more rounded frame sort of like the iPhone 5c back in the day and according to Nika's new report Apple will also be using Sony's state-of-the-art sensor for even better low-light performance on the iPhone 15 Pro.

We're also getting the Apple a17 chip which will be based on a smaller three nanometer process. So it will be even more power efficient 8 gigabytes of RAM up from six and then also USB 3.2 from 2.0 type c of course for faster transfer speeds. 

Then we have the iPhone 15 Ultra.

So on top of all the iPhone 15 Pro changes this will add a periscope Zoom module up to 10x to compete with a Samsung, Huawei and many others also the 15 Ultra will be the replacement in terms of the name for the iPhone Pro Max.

We're also expecting to see a titanium frame which would make the whole phone lighter and also more durable than the stainless steel model and less fingerprint as well and the physical buttons are said to be replaced by solid state ones with haptic Motors underneath sort of like the trackpad on a MacBook. 

Ipads:

When it comes to the iPad Pro. We're finally expecting to see a new design with a landscape FaceID camera, wireless charging which has been rumored for quite some time. A dual SMART connector ports maybe even with four pins which have also been rumored. We're also getting the M3 chip which will be based on a smaller three nanometer process for more power efficiency.

So hopefully we will finally see an improved battery life on the iPads which has always stayed at the 10 hours and we're also expecting to see a larger version of the iPad Pro at 14.1 inches or 16 inches. Both of these sizes have been rumored and this new iPad would compete with the MacBooks in terms of the size of these. When it comes to iPad Air we're not really expecting much aside from the M2 Chip up from the M1.

So one generation behind the iPad Pro and still the same design as we have now. When it comes to the iPad we're not really expecting to see any changes here since we just got a redesign and maybe a price drop and the 9th generation finally getting discontinued. 

MacBooks:

When itcomes to the MacBook Air the M1 air will likely be discontinued as it's alreadybeen more than two years since it launched. When it comes to the M2 error this would have the same design as now but with an M3 chip instead. Which like I said before it would be based on a smaller two nanometer process and it will be more power efficient.

So we could see a longer battery life and I'm also keeping my fingers crossed for dual monitor Support. Also when it comes to the air we're expecting to see a larger 15-inch model so same design as the smaller 13-inch just larger but a larger battery and with the M3 chip I think that'll be perfect for people who want a very thin and light laptop that also has great battery life and a large enough display. 

When it comes to the MacBook Pro the 13 inch M2 model is likely going to remain as the in-between option between the air and the 14 inch MacBook Pro but now updated with the M3 chip.

When it comes to the 14 and the 16 inch MacBook Pro these would be updated with the M2 Pro and the M2 Max chips with two extra CPU cores so 12 instead of 10 and up to 6 extra GPU cores so 38 instead of 32 which is what we had on the M1 Max model.

The benchmarks are out and we can see some modest performance gains but really the biggest Improvement here would be the two extra  efficiency cores that's why we get 12 instead of 10 which will significantly improve the performance in low power mode and also potentially improve the battery life with that small three nanometer process. 

Then we have the Mac Studio which will get bummed to the M2 Mac and the M2 Ultra chips and

if you take a look at that geekbench M2 Mac chip leak that one also has 96 gigabytes of RAM. So, that was likely a Mac Studio with more RAM than what we have now. On the M1 Mac model the M2 Ultra chip will essentially be two M2 Mac chips. So 24 CPU cores and 76 GPU cores.

Next up we have the iMac. So the 24 inch will finally get updated with the M3 chip which will bring pretty significant performance gains over the current M1 especially in the GPU department and I do expect to see some new colors as well or at least a more vibrant or a more pastel version of the current colors then we have the Mac Mini which will be updated to the M2 Chip from the current M1.

Yes this won't be the M3 at least based on the rumors good in mind this is supposed to be the most inexpensive Mac and the current Intel Mac Mini model is said to be replaced by an M2 pro version of the Mac Mini. 

Then we have the Mac Pro. This will be a completely redesigned version for Apple silicon and this will have an incredible amount of performance and

it will come with the M2 Ultra and the M2 extreme chip options with the M2 extremes have to feature upto 48 CPU cores upto 152 GPU cores and upto 256 gigabytes of RAM. So an incredible amount of performance a new form factor a new design.

Announcement:

Then we also have some special announcements and the reason why I said special is because we're expecting to see the Apple mixed reality headset

and apple could split that into multiple events and maybe one for the software with the new XR OS which has been recently rumored and then a separate event for the hardware unveil and this will be like I said a mixed reality headset. So both VR and AR powered by the M2 Chip 4K displays per eye and just incredible overall compared to what we have on the market right now. It won't be cheap it's said to be priced at around $3000 but this will change the VR industry.
